April 2008
Hello readers!
It's
been a long, cold and very snowy winter. Many of us in the north have
been barricaded in our homes under a deluge of snow, but it is finally
melting, and Spring promises to show up, a little late, but very
welcome!
And with Spring comes great news!
Awaiting The Magic:
Many
readers have asked me when the fourth book in the 'Awaiting' series is
coming out, and although I don't have a publication date yet, I am in
the process of writing it. It is entitled: 'AWAITING THE MAGIC',
Christoph won Wolfram, accompanied by Romolo, the young gypsy, finally
has his moment, as he tracks down the werewolf-gone-bad, Lyulph
Randell, following him through war-torn Europe to Belgium where he and
Morwenna Maxwell, the dangerous witch from 'AWAITING THE FIRE'
have escaped! Christoph, still tortured by his sordid past, is
determined to save Tamara, the gypsy girl, from the clutches of the
evil duo.
Blackfriars Publications:
I am also working on a couple of new titles for Blackfriars Publications. 'LOVE AND SCANDAL',
a Victorian-era romance set against the backdrop of literary London,
sizzles with sensuality as a naive writer searches for the man who has
stolen her literary identity. 'THE FAT LADY SINGS',
a contemporary murder mystery, features Chloe Harmon, a plus-size
chanteuse who must track down a killer to save her delicate sister from
a murder trial.
Exciting News!
I have just signed a three book contract with SOURCEBOOKS - Casablanca
is the imprint - for three Georgian-era historical romantic
mysteries... heavy emphasis on the romance! In the coming months, I'll
be telling you more about the novels, so check back for updates!
I am just thrilled about the series. The first title is:
LADY ANNE AND THE HOWL IN THE DARK
As
you can tell by the title, the central character is Lady Anne Addison,
an intelligent, plain spinster with a caustic wit, but surprisingly
tender heart. In LADY ANNE AND THE HOWL IN THE DARK,
she answers the plea of a newly married friend to come to her aid: Anne
heads north to Yorkshire, where she meets Lord Anthony Darkefell, a
handsome, moody, and mysterious marquess. Is the creature that has been
killing sheep and frightening local maidens really a werewolf? Lady
Anne is skeptical, but distracted from her task by the enigmatic and
enticing marquess. What is he hiding?
